Description
For weeks upon weeks, we had a downpour. Everything was wet, cold and clammy. During this time, I managed to get myself properly ill and coughed for weeks. Every day seemed like an endless wait for the sun to return, which it only did in small bursts. My vegetable garden was thriving and loving it, I was not. And then it seemed, as suddenly as it had gotten cold, it got warm again, and the sun shone. Getting better by then, I started sketching out this drawing of pure happiness and adoration for the blissful rays of above. A true child of the sun, a beautifully happy anthropomorphic character whose hair streams about him like waves.
