i was actually thinking the same thing when i was drawing it, but then barbie does like her pink. plus ilias uniform was all one colour so i wanted to keep it true to that uniform but just in barbies trademark pink

Maybe offset it with a darker or lighter pink on some places.

i mentioned what you suggested to the girl who commissioned me to do the picture. she said she was really happy with the picture the way it is because the only uniforms from the movie which had more than one colour were the dress uniforms & she didnt like those. she said she basically wanted the standard class A uniform but in that barbie pink colour.

EVEN THOUGH IT WAS A COMMISSION PIECE , HOW DID YOU EVER COME UP WITH THE IDEA TO DRAW HER "THAT" WAY ?

basically the girl who has been asking me to do these pictures wants me to do barbie in a certain uniforms but in pink. with these pictures i also have to give barbie a hairstyle fitting to the series the uniform is from. for the motion picture one of the major hairstyles (or lack of hair) is ilias so i thought it would be cool do do barbie in the same feel as ilia. i do realise that ilia is bald because she is an alien & barbie is a human character but i just thought the bald head would work really well with this picture
