hi, Marion... I know there isn't much I could say to you about this one that you've no doubt heard/read countless times over at this point... but I wanted to confirm that it's beautiful, stunning, intoxicating, inspiring, intimidating, and engaging, among zillions of other unnamed adjectives. I would like to think that it's because of the crisp New England air we breathe that faciltates such art, but I'm breathing the same N.E. air, and not making anything remotely akin to this, so it's gotta be just you!
It makes me wish I was there with you when you made it, so I could have been a fly-on-the-wall for lessons...*sigh*, as it is, I'm left scratching my head, smiling like the Cheshire cat, back to the sorrow that is my own gallery.
I hope some of this makes sense, and that it finds you well, and smiling... as it has left me. And if you're ever taking on pupils, I'm not far indeed!
-Shane

I'm in love, most the time I say.. 'that would make a nice drawing' or something. I wouldn't change a thing about this. I know you can order prints off this thing, can I get a signed one somehow?

This not only captured the attention of me - someone with almost no attention span, but also from several of my friends!
Excellent work!

Sweet indeed, I love the tones and the texture blends, nice flow to it, also, beautiful and nostalgic, like a look back in time.

Great job on this one.
It reminds me of death... loss of life, and loss of hapiness... and at the same time it is quite warm... That's it warm death!

Awesome! The blending is spectacular. I like the rusted earth tones...fits well with the forest. I love how you made the forest into a texture. New fav!

wow marion!
what deep dark unknown recess of your imagination did THIS come from???
this is FANTASTIC!
there are elements here that you are seemingly mastering that i can only
WISH to do! those symmetrical shapes for instance. i've been searching for a
way to create a look similar to that by traditional means,...i'm at a complete
loss!
i'm impressed beyond words.
beautiful!
