Description Ponta do Castelo, Madeira . It's a pretty touristic hike on the eastern side of the island, which is much more barren and desert like than the rest of the island, but so damn worth it It's really windy though, so you have to continually check none of your belongings have decided to fly off.

They were not that visible if there were clouds, but when the sun came through it was sudden colour everywhere.

Thanks What I always miss most after a holiday is the views. We simply don't have many (do we have any?) wide open scapes where I live and I always tend to feel a bit locked up coming back.

I totally understand the feeling! I love to get lost in the contemplation of the wildlife aswell, it feels like home, it helps feeling just fine Far away from the stress of the cities!
