Description
I've had this sketch sitting around for a while and just didn't know what to do with it. I'd begin outlining it but that wouldn't look right to me, so I tried to go into a more painterly direction but that wouldn't look right, either. So I sighed and set the sketched aside and told myself I'd get around to it later.

And finally I did. I figured that since none of the coloring styles I've used in the past were gonna work for this drawing, well, I'd just have try something different! I rather like how this turned out.

Rarity ties with Rainbow Dash as my favorite pony. It took me far too long to get around to drawing her (not counting her three panels in Avatar: Friendship is Magic).
