Commission for Darne93 - Witold Pilecki: Pilecki was a Polish officer and intelligence agent. In WW2 he infiltrated Auschwitz as a prisoner and exposed it's horrors to the world. After his calls for an attack on Auschwitz fell on deaf ears he escaped and took part in the Warsaw Rebellion. After the war he opposed the Soviet takeover of Poland and was executed by the communist regime after a show trial.
