Finally managed to color it (with water colors)
I am not that content with the banners but I can try again another time.
Now a few words about Bardas Phokas, the main character of my comic.

Bardas Phokas the Younger was a 10th century Byzantine general, as well as the nephew of the famous emperor Nikephoros Phokas, "the Pale Death of the Saracens". He followed his uncle to his campaigns and rose to the rank of Megas Domestikos (commander in chief) of the East. But when Nikephoros was murdered by the usurper Ioannes Tzimiskes, he revolted to avenge his uncle and defend his family's interests. The rebellion was quenched by general Bardas Skleros and Phokas was exiled in a monastery in the isle of Chios. Eight years later, after Tzimiskes had passed away, Skleros himself rebelled and threatened to overthrow the new emperor Basil II. Having slain most of the competent loyalist generals, the palace turned to their old enemy Bardas: they recalled him from exile and promised to return his old rank and possessions, if he traveled incognito to his homeland of Cappadocia to stir up the local aristocracy against his old enemy Skleros. The comic will be following his story, as well of his companions, as they struggle to "usurp the usurper"
