Venn, CT-23478, at the Battle of Geonosis, his debut battle.Venn is a character of my own creation, and this picture is inspired by a short story of his actions in the same battle that I am currently working on - I finished his actions after the war, but I have three years of combat to write about
I tried an entirely different drawing technique with this one, instead of drawing the final product and then adding a background, the drawing is over top of the background . . . I placed one layer that was entirely grey and then used an (+) layer rather than (X) layer for each aspect, occasionally using a (-) on pieces like the super

thanks . . that was sorta the style I have been developing, mostly out of necessity than design though as I lack a graphics card on my computer haha

lol I use photoshop now, it was a required program for my college classes, that's the only reason I have it.

i use Gimp now because photoshop is expensive and I don't pirate stuff . . . used to use opencanvas but now I like Gimp better after I figure out how it works

I had Gimp before as well. I never figured it out, and then I got PS. It's a trick to learn, but lost of fun when you do. But yeah, thankfully since it was a class thing, I got it for free, otherwise, there's no way I'd have been able to get it.

Basically for Gimp I'm pressing buttons and seeing what they do....its also what I did for opencanvas....I'm too lazy to read a bloody tutorial
