Well, it seems that I am one of the few people who absolutely loves the fact that Hermione goes back to Hogwarts "on her own" to complete her education.a) because it's what she needs to do for herself, and just because she and Ron finally sorted their complications does not mean she's now connected to him at the hip
b) I looooove the possibilities of Hermione at Hogwarts without her best friends. For 7 years, she's never been apart from them for more than a few weeks at a time, and now she's at their old school without them. Plus, Hogwarts is probably ripe with trauma now after the battle, and she'll be stared at a lot and.. character growth, oh my!
Wish some talented fic author would finally write that fic...
Aaanyways, this is Hermione, talking to her best friends/brother and boyfriend/bffs and missing them simultaneously.
Oh, and don't nag about the mirror being Aberforth's now. For the sake of this drawing, let's say they got it back, 'kay?

I would totally love to write that fic, but I'm bad enough at updating my current fics as it is let alone adding another one to my schedule!
I MIGHT try to write it after I've finished the one I'm writing now. (But that could take a while...and don't expect it to be much good. But if I do, I'll send you a link or something. Don't expect anything.)

I really love the idea of the trio getting split up after such a long time together. It makes me sad, but hey, like you said, character growth. This is beyond cute, and I can just imagine Hermione giggling along as they argue. The dialogue is just adorable

well, she goes back to Hogwarts with Ginny and Luna since they were a year younger. the three graduate together.

I adore the fact that Hermione decided to get back to Hogwarts even if that means she would be on her own; any other way would have been betrayal to the character.

hmmm I seem to have a love hate relationship with this idea. One second I love it and the next I am completely against it... Guess It depends
I can easily see her going back to school being all Hermioneish as she is very into her education. At the same time I can't see her not wanting all the incredible job oppertunities that would come her way after being a major part in helping Harry beat Voldie poo
So anyway Love love love this version of her hogwarts and wish you would make more similiar if not even better (If you could top something so genius!... I'm sure you could)

I really dig this idea as well. Hermione is strong enough that she'd never let a little thing like the boys not going back keep her away from finishing school. Especially not when it's probably hella important to her.
I love the exchange between Ron and Harry. She'll probably get bored of them and start reading some disgustingly large text book in a minute though.

i agree that it was good for hermione to go back herself. i believe that harry and ron would visit occasionally. but mostly i believe that it's a bit strange that the whole school didn't just repeat a year. i mean, they didn't learn much did they? if they learned anything it was probably somewhere along the lines of "101 ways to get the living daylights tortured out of you"!
