Blackbirds and olive branches, in springIt's from an old project I was going to do, some years ago, about paintings and house decorations on natural theme
I dedicate this to for her kindness, and for her birthday which is today

I love it, did you get the "3 layer" (meaning perspective layers) style with photoshop, or with the pencils?

Thank you very much ^__^ black lines are made with pencil, while the layers behind are painted with tablet then processed with 'Find edges' Photoshop filter, in order to get a 'wet' effect

It's really nice, I like the transition from top to bottom. It's like a spring morning where the sun haven't pierced the fog yet, but if it does it's going to be a wonderful day. Also I love the birds and I wonder if there's some rivalry going on, there are after all three males but only two females.
On another note I never knew they were called blackbirds, they are called solsorte (sunblacks) in Danish XD

Thank you ^^ the colour transition is partially inspired to the dawn, and partially it's because the image needed a complementar colour to turn out more pleasing

I really like them as well. They are one of the few birds that winters in Denmark, though only the males for some reason - females and young birds flies south. I always thought that was strange
