while starting the fire, his father teaches his little brother about the diffrent fire wood, and its uses. tinder waits in the curve of the wood used to make the fire, a couple of sticks ready to fuel a small flame until his father and brother return moments later.

About the piece

inspired by my hero Ray Mears, whom i watched on new years day ^_^.
i used my new prismacolour pencils, and a blender. in photoshop i cropped and darkened the clouds a little.

its also a mile stone for me. i hope it'll represent all that i've learnt so far. i have a lot of peaple to thank, for helping me (knowingly or not)
first of all
, my best friend. she's sat with me, down the pub and taught me so much, thanks to her i learnt a lot about shading and anatomy.

An amazing artist and such a generous person, i've watched and stared at her work, trying to it fingure out. i've learnt a lot about colouring from her.

pretty much everyone who i watch ^_^. Also the people that have been watching and commenting of my stuff, giving me confidence ^_^ thankyou

i've done a bit of experimenting with this one, and i think for the most part it turned out quite well. i would'nt say i dislike it but then i'm not abunantly exstatic about it either. i am ' pleased' with it though.

oh and YAY! ...a background!
