Usually for magazine illustrations I'm given a paragraph of pretty detail description of what I'm to draw, and as for how I come up with it I dunno... the good writing from the description I guess? But thanks for liking it, I think the design could've been pushed even more and make them even better

haha yeah i know where your coming from...you are always your biggest critic, not matter how good you are.
and the reason i asked is i usually come up with ideas...but i overcomplicate them and the picture becomes a tad messy; yours just seem simple yet extremly well done.

This is very beautiful i like how the brown rock recedes into his feiry appendages. Great job. It's be even greater wit ha back ground his head is interesting it reminds me of body builders, very small compared to the shoulders and the rest of the body. i like him. hes sorta cute . great job
