Description

Jade went to a deeper transformation than many characters I have made before. I tried to split her apart from Misty of Pokemon and so her last name form Professor Birch of Pokemon as well. I hope you are all pleased with this result.

“I don’t like being dependent on the acceptance, approval, or the expectation of others; I decided to live my life without looking back and letting go of all the pointless drama and surround myself with people who makes me laugh and smile. And trust me when I say life can be very bumpy sometimes, but that shouldn’t stop you from keep on living and do what you enjoy. Life is too short to worry about embarrassment and self-denial. You better enjoy it because the next day promises nothing.“

PLOT

Jade is by nature easy going yet very hotheaded, but being born outside the wed clock caused a rift with her relationship with her parents.
Her parents had her when they were 16. By influence of the grandparents, they were forced to marry and grow up to sustain her daughter. Having teen parents, caused tension and that created big fights. So Jade tried to behave as well as she could to relieve the pressure of her parents, but it was a big weight on a child’s shoulders. Luckily, Jade had her grandparents; who deeply loved their granddaughter and became a great support. But when Jade turned 7, there was a fight which involved her due an accident she suffered. And when her parents were yelling, they confessed that she was unwanted. Since that, Jade developed a contempt and hatred for her parents.
In the end, instead of facing their daughter they avoided being her, and that left Jade by herself. When her grandparents realized this, they talked with her parents and came to an agreement. That Jade would live with them to Knothole. After Jade came to their village, she was relieved and happy that she never had to be alone. Surrounded by friends and people who really liked her, she was able to smile again. However, deep down; but she always denies it; hopes that her parents will go back for her.

PERSONALITY

Jade is sly, rebellious, outgoing and very impulsive. Sometimes she can be very sneaky and tricky, and tends to be carefree, sarcastic, stubborn, and biased in some occasions. Despite her flaws, Jade’s got a bold and friendly nature, who cares very much about her friends, and cannot bear to see someone hurt. Because of her empathetic, gentle heart, Jade never hesitates to help those in need of it despite their circunstances, treating all equally. Yet still, Jade was never afraid to voice her mind about what is "right" and what is "wrong", making her somewhat opinionated and stubborn. Jade tends be a hot headed girl who is rather annoyed and can even burst into anger when people put on masks and lie about their true feelings whether to keep up appearances or trying to live into others expectations; and always tries to motivate everyone around her to be more honest about themselves, finding irrelevant the circumstances they are in and focus on who they wanna be.

While having an outgoing nature, and ability to make friends quickly, Jade has a darker hidden violent side on her when her short temper is brought into play, specially when people make fun or ill comments either of those she cares for or even herself, which are things she can almost never tolerate nor has the patience for. Her wild, turbulent and erratic emotions towards others can range from concern over her own friends to relief at them safe to anger over reckless behavior, which makes her somewhat of a hypocrite considering her own reckless courage. Jade has shown to be very stubborn at times and even holding strong and bitter grudges for those who take advantage of her or even see use her as a mean to get to others, or the most common, people who play the victims when they were the aggressors; and it takes a whole restoration so she can see they never meant her any harm, and re genuinely remorseful so she can forgive them. This flaws cloud her judgement and rushes her to act impulsive, jumping into potentially dangerous situations without waiting for help. Sometimes she can set loose her emotions due to be very passional in everything she does, but she can quickly keep her emotions in check and become very serious if the situation calls for it.

Despite being impulsive and hot headed, Jade’s is shown to be a very loyal and faithful friend refusing to abandon her friends despite her own feelings. She accepts all the worry and pain inside of herself and gives her loved ones all the support so they can remain together.
Even after what happened with her parents, all Jade is shown to truly want is for her family to be restored, despite the fact that she had reached the breaking point that she built her life with them out of the picture. And when it comes to joining sides with those who harmed her before, she is devoted to stand by their side in hard times despite being conflicted with her feelings, and often just handled the emotional pain it brings on her in the best way she can, truly showing how strong she is.

SKILLS
Jade may look like a girl who knows more about fashion than any other subject, but she actually posses photographic memory and perfect recall that greatly aided her in school, however since she is not someone who takes great interest on studying she is not the best person to ask for information she hasn’t read yet.
Jade may not a fighter nor have special fighting skills, but she really stands out in sports; And since she is a girl with an attractive appearance, she had some bad meeting with boys, so she decided to take lessons of self-defense. And while she became an outstanding student, she can get carried away and use excess of force which she almost never regrets or apologizes for unless it was by accident, though there are times she does regret this as well. She has been shown to apologize once or twice when she takes too far, but never really seems to mean it.
