I really like this image, however I must say the hooks look too photoshoped... which make the image contrast look too much. If the hooks were perhaps flatter or even more dim then the image could have blended in more. I like your enthusiasm for experimentation with textures though.

You are a scary broad, darling ... but we would'nt want you any other way, of course. This is just so Noir(ish). Haunting, gothic (when it's grown up), bizarre, twisted, and yet elegant and delicate.

Snowflake Obsidian is natural glass (composed primarily of silicon dioxide (SiO2)) that contains internal inclusions (crystallites) of Phenocryst which produce the snowflake appearance when polished and is the result of lava that cooled quickly. It is normally black and opaque, with the appearance of white to gray "snowflakes". Snowflake Obsidian is known as "the stone of purity", bringing balance to the triune function. Snowflake Obsidian provides protection for sensitizes; negativity cannot coexist with it. Therefore, it is very good at enhancing the meditative space by helping to create serenity and sensitivity to love and beauty.

great cover for a magazine. yep freud might. The eyes are the gateways or gateway as it were, to the soul. They open up, electrify, transpose imagery, all in a since glance, all glancing with, and through eyes. Marble marvels, shining, and glimmering. Colors of the rainbow, light, reflecting, refracting. Mine just caught a spider I went after. in the rise of the sun, I do not know if I got it or not, it was a tiny bugger

that's pretty strong and solid imagery.
i love the combination of the two elements, the face and the leather mask, it looks pretty freaky.
blending is awesome, i don't have to point out that.
left side is perfection. only glitch in my eyes is the right side.. too flat? weird angle? dunno!

Detail, though important is not always everything. Though this may not have been the intent, but the peice holds something of a delecate balance. A grace held in shadow and pain. And because you may not be able to find compete definition in the eyes, it leaves you with a sense of wonder and aww over what may lie beneath the porceline shaped face. You did an exellent job on the entire peace.
