i love the smoothness of the skull or head, and the simpicity of the idea and but the strange atmosphere it creates

i can sympathize with the hatred. they never do my paintings justice, but I try. anyhoo, i like this. reminds me of TOOL, the band, not the...tool.

hmmmm, your right, it does look a lot like my painting, more monochromatic though. I dunno, I find this one a bit more daunting and creepy than mine, perhaps its the dark back ground. *shrug* oh well

whoa... you are an amazing painter. I wish I had more to say than "whoa" but alas I am left speechless and must resort to talking like a guy out of one of those 80's surfer dude movies.

Yeah, I love the way painting totally chills me out.... I totally stink at it , but it relaxes nonetheless.
But you are an incredible painter, so can the modesty!

i wouldnt, i wouldnt even touch it. this style has been used and abused far too many times. but if it were me, being that it is a digital image now why not add something digital. imo it needs red. maybe just some straight lines cutting through the background to fight with the darkness and, well let me stop im a digi artist, your a painter. im sure you want a good job nice work so ill satisfy and give it to you. gj nw

its the third painting i ever did - for a class. the project was to use all one color and be able to show value with that one color.
i considered doing something digital with it but why? not everything needs to be messed with digitally - not every movie needs to be colorized.
no need to say good job as frankly i could care less about being pattted on the head - i thought you were a painter that could add something of value when you said you didnt like it. my bad.
