Description
One of the neat features of the Manx MPAR is it's detachable integrated Picatinny Rail. This set of detachable rails can be switched for different configurations to save weight to add capability, at the user's discretion. The rails are detached by a set of flathead screws as shown in the drawing.This is the Manx in 6.5 Diamondback, configured as a Light Marksman Rifle (LMR).

Yeah, there are a few drawbacks, but the only unsolvable one is the non-adjustable length of pull, but we may even see that one solved if we get a true electronically-connected, free-moving trigger package that actually works and keeps working in combat conditions.

It's a reference to the cat, because I'm a big fan of the "sailor's cat" and the bullpup design is "tailless", so to speak. So, the Manx.

No probs! Well in my time I've got to fire L85s, LSWs and a GPMG but most of the time we used the L98, it's a bolt action version of the L85A2, supposedly 'safer' for cadet use... [link]

The L86 hasn't been used as a SAW for a while, it's used by the Paras as a squad marksman weapon though...
