I honestly couldn't answer that cuz I really don't know. It's what the fetish wanted, and I really don't have a way of figuring out what started that. Then again, I don't even know what started the fetish in the first place.

I probably know what started it. Cronus. Though he devoured his children so that they wouldn't overthrow him. No risque situations involved, he simply didn't want his children to overthrow him. It worked out for a while, until Zues forced him to disgorge his brothers & sisters.

I mean, it could be. I played a ton of Age of Mythology as a kid, tho I also remember not liking that image much. It's probably the abundant belly fetish content in kids books (if you look hard enough its there a lot more than you'd think, as I discovered when looking back at things)
