This has to be one of the strongest images that portrays the sense of hopelessness that we feel. I understand this feeling so well. This is so strong in its impact. You have amazing talent to put emotion into body language as you have done! I think this is remarkable!

Thank you. It's nice to know that other people actually "get" some of my drawings and paintings. Most people just say something like..you need to add some color or put an object over here for composition...it makes me /facepalm. Art is not a damn math equation people..geez. Sorry for the short rant there lol. I've just been boiling lately. ><

Rant away sweetie! I understand. Don't you think that some of us feel more deeply than others, have more awareness of life, and the world we live in? I do. I think that is part of why we become artists. The need to express feelings, ideas, passions that can't be held in.
I agree also that art is not a math equation. Although being a fractal artist, I do believe that math equations can, and are used to express art.
I hope to see more of your art. I need to go look at "If Only 1"

Not a problem, I understand what you mean. Art comes in many different forms. I think writing is art as well. I can write the things that I feel far better than any other form of art. I have kept journals since I was a teenager. So I am very acquainted with writing and I love words too.

I would love to be able to express myself through words, I love poems and stories, drawing and painting just comes much more natural to me.

I have always wanted to be a pencil artist/sketch artist. I finally decided to try to teach myself. So I bought this book called "Drawing for the Absolute and Utter Beginner" Which would be me. 
I have the graphic pencils, charcoal, the erasers, I think the one you can pull is cool 
Well, except for those who were born with the talent! They are so lucky! I have a son in law that can cool at anything, sit down and draw it, and I mean he can draw it as good as what he chooses to draw from. I gave him, a hardbound book of the Marvel Comics characters. I mean this was a really nice book. I can't remember who did the artwork now, but it was amazing as well. He could draw them. It just amazed me. He never had a lesson in his life!
But it didn't mean anything to him. He didn't think it was anything special. I could have thumped him!

I guess you could say I've been taught, since I took art in High school, But I don't really ever say I've had lessons. I only went to an art college for 3 months before dropping out because the teachers drew worse than me. (and other reasons...)
One of my drawing teachers would just nit pick at everything I drew and he was failing me, so I went to the dean and showed her my work and asked her if my work deserves a failing grade. Apparently she talked to him about it and he got pissed off and took me out of the room and said, "WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" I told him, "I want a damn A bc you know I deserve one!" Then he said, "Ok, for the next 4 hours, YOU teach the class." 
He and I exchanged some nasty looks during those 4 hours of class.
Oh it was awful, I didn't know how to help some of those poor kids fix their drawings.
I think I drank about a gallon of wine when I got home after that day..ugh..
Back to what we were talking about lol,
My fiance always wants to thump me on the noggin like you with you're son-in-law when I tell him something I did wasn't really that great.

That was a crappy thing the instructor did to you. One had absolutely nothing to do with the other. What an ass!
As for you not thinking your art isn't that great, don't you think we all feel that way about a lot of things we create? We expect more from our self than others do. So I can understand where you are coming from there.
