Description Another experiment:

Partial lyrics to the Tagalog song "Bahay Kubo" (Nipa Hut) written in stylized traditional baybayin characters using the Sulat Kapampangan method of writing (top to bottom, right to left). This is an exercise in grouping and determining ease of writing and legibility, as well as assessing the overall look of the composition. Mind you, this is not perfect. I wrote it quickly without planning.

Interesting technique. Traditional ba or is this a stylization? Either way, it now has the complex beauty of Kanji/Hanzi.
Good job!

Salamat! At magpasalamat din tayo sa mga kapatid nating Kapampangan; sila ang may foresight to addopt this method from the Indic/Brahmic scripts. ...I just have to figure out just when was this writing method introduced to Kapampangan baybayin and by who (I am waiting on a couple of old books to arrive). So I have a more concrete idea on the merit of the method.

Oh, and did you notice that the groups are complete words w/o missing consonants? Those who don't like the Spanish cross kudlit may find this method more appealing.
