Description
This is an idea I've been wanting to do for a long time, since I did some research on the Koopalings. That is to draw them dressed as the famous people they were named after, who were mostly musicians, as former Nintendo of America staff member Dayv Brooks had music on his mind, when he was tasked with naming them (before Nintendo he worked as a DJ). I've decided to work and upload each Koopaling in the order they were fought in in Super Mario World.

The first Koopaling we have here is Iggy Koopa (know as Hop Koopa in the cartoon series) as Iggy Pop (1947-) whose real name is James Newell Osterberg Jr, the founder and lead singer of the punk rock band The Stooges. Iggy was also heralded as "The Godfather of Punk", as aside from loud music, he was also known for his wild antics on stage and was even credited for inventing the "Stage Dive", while successful for the most part, injured him on some occasions...

Iggy Pop's name came from a nickname he was given back when he was the drummer for his garage rock band "The Iguanas", which was what kickstarted his career. Another interesting thing to note is that out of the 7 Koopalings, Iggy Koopa is the only one whose namesake is (as of uploading this image) still alive...
