So I just got my first painting lesson the other day. And I didn't do too well. What I did acheive is inspiration, though. My first little painting was to replicate a girl enveloped in a red scarf. And although I screwed that up, I left that evening craving to work in color. So I browsed deviant art for a nice reference and I found just that [link] ~my-goddess' Self-Love Project [link]

Now this piece here was never meant to be a serious creation and was simply a test for myself to see if I could handle drawing a face in color. In fact, it's actually drawn on the back of my colored pencil pallette on a scratch xerox I keep at my desk. So yeah, I got into the pair of eyes I was drawing using self_love8 as reference and within 2 nights I had filled the page with color.

Please keep in mind this was just supposed to be a practice study for me using color so there was never any structure to this as a Drawing, but yeah, I am still proud of it.
