I know this is kind of a different view of my drawings but it's the first I've done in my new Moleskine I got for all thoughts, concepts and/or time passers that may pop in my head. I scanned it and since I'm not using printer paper for once, I couldn't close the flatbed. As a result -> the grid-thing that I thought of as unique border that added a 3rd demension to my new summer style.

I found my reference on accident when I was listening to Breaking Benjamin radio on last.fm. I wanted to know the name of the song that was playing (Odd One), so when I opened up the browser window I see this [link] awesome picture. I immediatly decided this would be the first drawing in my Moleskine and got to work that night (My dad, who also plays bass is a little jealous)

I did this on the extra large(?) 8 x 10 Moleskine over about 3 nights out of the last week and I'll go ahead and say I'm proud of how it came out. I was ready to move on after the main figure and bass but I love the fisheye too much to leave the warped background out of the scene. The fretboard was such a pain but came out alright while Most of the background was rushed in cursory haste didn't.
