Meet Mr and Mrs Whiskers on their daily stroll...

My contest entry for All Your Yesterday's contest! I don't think it's up to par with most other stuff I've seen, but had to try anyway, such a fun contest!

My inspiration for this was kiwi birds and bearded bornean pigs more than anything, but also other animals that use whiskers to look for food, like the common cat. You can probably see the kiwi influences in particular...

I've seen dinosaur feathers/proto-feathers/etc depicted in many ways, but never as whiskers I think. Still, if the kiwi can pull it off, perhaps a dinosaur could too? It could be useful for one looking for bugs of the forest floor, for instance.

I think this image would look better if depicted as taking place at night... but I don't have enough shades of my ProMarkers to do that justice XD Need to buy moar pens...

The species is meant to be Albertonykus. It seemed like a good fit! Hopefully there is nothing that directly contradicts this sort of depiction in a way that means it can instantly be ruled out - I'm not saying it's likely to be a correct representation of the species (probably isn't!) but if it's realistic enough to remain speculative rather than simply 100%-untrue, I'm happy
