Quick question/s, (as I am still new to photoshop) what does the dpi mean? Is it to do with the resolution of the image?

dpi means dots per inch, and the more you have, the better the resolution of your image. it's important to have a high dpi, at least 300, if you plan on printing your image :}

The fur detail is awesome, it looks so realistic, when I saw the complete piece I thoughy it was a photomanipulation.

What a detail! And more importantly, the fur looks very correct in length, color and direction. There aren't so many shadow area's in it, but the highlights make up for it.

Love the eyes. The earring is a very nice detail, it looks like a magical rain drop from far, very good. The fur, of course, is amazing, especially on the forehead and ears (which is the nicest part to pet on dogs [...so I suppose on wolves too] anyway).
But the expression, it's priceless.
