I'm loving the costume, I like the edit on the photo to give it an old-time look as well

I love the steampunk style how much did it cost to make/obtain your costume?

Thanks! Let's see . . .I believe the entire look only cost me roughly $18. Because I had the two blouses already that were given to me. For the skirt, I got the red from the thrift-store (it originally came from bed sheets) I just added it to a black pencil-skirt. and then $10 for the top hat that I just decorated. ^_^ All that to say that I love thrift-stores and I don't "hoard" clothes for nothing. The mechanical arm was just some piping and hinges that we threw together.

wow, it looks so good for the price! I get given clothes by people sometimes, I've been meaning to learn how to properly sew for ages...hopefully one day I could sew stuff as cool as your clothing

Good point I've done simple things like make shorts from old jeans and I did a bit of textiles at school, but I need to find some free time, find the sewing machine and get going good luck with all of your future work

I am so so so sorry for not answering sooner! Thank you so much! Well whatever you sew just keep trying and you'll be sewing dresses before you know!

hey I don't mind if you don't answer promptly, we've all got those busy weeks/days etc and I may start learning how to sew properly again once I have time and I've finished my jewellery projects (I'm currently trying to find cord for shamballa bracelets and I'm starting to make ear cuffs and I already make earrings). There's always something to do!
