Yep! It was so awesome! I think people were "omg" at me with their stares. ^_^ It was very fun. Yes it is a very real corset, made with steel-boning. Don't worry, I could breathe just fine, well . . . sorta. I guess I just got use to taking slow shallow breathes. It was quite a mystery as to how I was able to sit down in the car . . . My waist was able to shrink an inch. It made me proud. Lol!

They were totally 'omg'ing at you And lol yeah, I know ^^ but my god, other people DON'T xD I sometimes wear them too (but mostly to fairs because real life sucks xD) and whenever I happen to wear one in normal day life, most people go like '*poke* do you feel this? How about now? No? And this? *poke again somewhere else*, and the all round 'I could never wear that, too restrictive and unpractical' BLAHBLAH. Who cares about that, it's just pwetty

Haha yeay tiny waists! though, only one inch =O? Don't want to ruin your happy-bubble though
Maybe it's just me, but I apparantly happen to have a waist which can shrink about 10cm/4inches quite easily (I have a lot of 'fluffy fat' [oh dear lord xD that sounds stupid] around that area I think xD)
But it sucks you can't wear them in normal life people would stear their eyeballs out. Except when you go all historicly correct and wear one underneath your clothes ofcourse, that's more subtle But I still don't get how they did that in the 40's without the boning peeking through the fabrics of the top clothing =/ Plus, a decent corset costs a lot Especially when you have unusual sizes like a tiny waist and big hips or something like that (I do anyway ), so you'd have to have one especially made, which is obviously very expensive But still, corsets, dawwww
