I love this tank. The wethering effect is well done, and the colors look really good.

Thanks, did some touch up work the other day and feel a little bit better about the paint job now.

I like the model, but I also see an extensive use of washes.
It definitely has its uses, but it looks better on smaller surfaces, whereas on larger areas it tends to pool and look odd.
I'm also missing the highlights on the edges, especially because the tank does look darker in the recesses; it could be the light, but I'm missing that contrast.
I believe that, if you intend to apply this kind and depth of weathering look on the model, you would likely get better effects using weathering powders. Depending on the manufacturers and brands, you can even get specific sets, tailored for example to reflect metallic wearing such as rust or paint chip, all the way to sand and mud tones. Sometimes you can get similar effects by shading with a pencil, if done carefully.
I know I'm criticizing quite hard, but I mean it well. I really like your predator!

Yeah, I will most likely be going back over them with red, these are my first marine vehicles with inks, I've done a bunch of ork vehicles the last couple of years and they seem to work better on account of all the cracks and patched together metal the inks don't pool as much.

This looks awesome love the contrast of the gold/bronze with the deep red you use in you army personal I like it more than the traditional blood angles paint scheme.
I have seen some people freehand wings on their tanks but this defiantly adds a lot of personality to the tank.

Yeah, the ones on the top were actually my wifes idea, I was going to try and have them on the side of the tank and mentioned them being to small. She made the comment of them being bendable and bent one of them around the top and I couldn't believe how great it looked. Plus they are a natural brass color when I get them which helps them look even sharper.
