Glad you like it, thanks. When I look at my work, I don't even really see a particular style, so it's good to know you do. As for the lightning it is in no way precise, but if there is some specific area in the picture bugging you please point it out.

If you mean my work generally, I agree as well. My understanding of form and light slowly improves as I go. Thanks for feedback!

All I can say about the lightning is that it is in the right place but sometimes too strong as if the light would fall exactly on that place. The creature on the left and the sword of the main character have such problem - they have strong lightning on both sides, and light is actually falling from the left corner.
And another tip is that if even the light is strong, the lines on lightened surfaces should not be so hard.) try to make it softer in some cases ^-^

Thanks for the additional info, it was actually useful. I really am painting everything really hard edged because I hate smudgy look, but I should definitely use more variety, not all surfaces reflect the light as hard as metal or rocks.

I love that every painting you do has a narrative behind it. Great job on this! The soldier on the left looks haunting because it looks like empty ghost armor because of the light shining right through it. The gleaming weapons are also really well done!

I like the atmosphere here. "Legend" is a fitting title, it feels like we're looking back at the beginning of an epic battle.

Glad you like it and glad you understood that a battle is about to begin. It's supposed to be that guy on the hill versus the entire dark army, hence the name. Thanks for feedback again man.
