Abortion is not murder, and is not remotely similar to the initial scenario you described. An embryo/fetus is not physically autonomous and therefor requires continual consent to use the body of the individual whom it depends on for survival - if you run around shooting people, those are physically autonomous individuals.

From what I know, there exist 'homes' for mothers that can't afford the baby. I think they're meant mainly for teen mothers, but they'd probably accept raped women too.

So you're saying an already mentally scarred woman who just wants to get on with her life should live in an area where other women are also suffering? I understand adoption is a choice, but sometimes girls don't want to put their body through that stress. Besides, a lot of new mothers become so attached the first time they see their baby, there's no turning back.

Consent to sex is consent to sex. Consent to sex is not consent to anything else that may or may not occur as a result. If I get into a car I know that I might get into a wreck, so should I be left to die if that occurs because I was aware that it might happen when I got in the car? No.

My mother is Pro Choice the last time I checked. I'm not lucky that my parents didn't abort me because if they did I wouldn't care! and guess what? You wouldn't care if you were aborted either! Because fetuses and embryos are not sentient so when they're aborted they don't even know!

And you know what? I wouldn't be aborted because my mom is pro-life just like the rest of my family. Except, maybe, a certain one of my brothers, but I am not even sure about that.
For that example, I'm going to use the same thing I use for sex - if you don't want to get somewhere, then don't go in a car. Something that's apparently too difficult for the majority of people to understand.

Anyway, anything who is made by human cells is human, however is not necessarely a human being. Example: an arm chopped off of it's body is not an individual, because it has no proper metabolism and can't suurvive by itself. Same with a fetus.
