Ah, the Orca.. C&C nostalgia time
I made this model whilst teaching myself 3D Max and used some of the renderings in a game I wrote that was basically a C& C scrolling shoot 'em up. Thinking about it, even though I didn't finish the game there is a demo I made ages ago at [link] though it's strictly work in progress!Anyway simple but effective model I think, and I tried to stay as true to the original proportions as possible, even though it seemed to change image to image!

nice work, i love the C&C series. at first ithought this was something from the Starship troopers 3D render series sci fi used to show, i think they took it off air tho

"Roughnecks"... woah I used to watch that show all the time. I only missed a few episodes, wow I almost forgot about it. I want to watch it again.. is it on DVD?? I gotta go find out!

Sweet, they have copies of the series on DVD on Amazon from £7... I must have it! Er, ok you probably don't need to know that but I'm tired.
