Description
A tank design for a BF1942 mod I was making with a friend. This was to be the largest vehicle for the Romanum army and got close to being finished, minus the textures.

I started by building the tank fairly high poly with simple geometry, then it was an easy case of booleans and mesh editing to bring the polygons right down suitable for the game. A lot of the detail removed in the bottom picture was intended to be put back in with the texture map.

The tank did actually make it into the mod and into the game, but only in its most basic form! Still would have been cool. We stopped working on the mod in favour of a full game I'm writing, and we're both making content for. As we work on the game further I'll probably upload some of the better work in progress models
