Been re-thinking about some of my ships.

Not the characters of said ships, I love them too much to ever think about trying to replace them, just who's parents are who's.

Been thinking changing Mumble from a full dragon to another pony-dragon. Garble did indeed go back ot the Dragon Lands for a few years, but later returned to Canterlot after news from one of his old gang buddies marrying a princess. You know, try to reconcile and get in on some of that. But while there, his plans were interrupted by meeting a horn broken unicorn certain Royal Guard trainer.

The 2 ended up hitting it off, again mainly through competition, an d through that had a relationship and conceived Mumble. Unlike Fireball and Spectrum, Garble was aware of Mumble's existence from his conception. Unfortunately, while they did love each other, their relationship strained fast, especially now that they had a child that they had very radical beliefs in raising. So, one night Garble left and, partially out of greed and out of spite, took Mumble with him.

Mumble grew up with a lot of self hatred, constantly seeing himself as an abomination with Garble (purposefully and not) reminding him somehow of it everyday. He has some magic from his mother, and similarly a broken horn from roughousing as a kid. If he gets angry enough, he can create sonic waves through his firebreath.

While I do like FlurrySpike, at the same time, the more I think about the age difference and how Spike is technically Twilight's son (if there was anything new to be taken from Father Knows Beast, it would be that), the more the the relationship bothers me.

I'll probably still draw them, just with a platonic relationship instead. Like roughousing cousins.

Spot would probably be changed to the son of Spike and Terramar, name still in tact as Gilspotten. The 2 would meet and bond over their 2 different world living (Terramar as a hippogirff, Spike as a dragon raised by ponies), starting from meetings to Twilight's school and becoming penpals. Terramar and Applebloom would still be married while Spike and Gabby were in a non-married relationship, but then Spike and Gabby would break up and a bit later, Applebloom and Terramar would amicably divorce due to differences on where to live with their families being so apart. Spot would be the younger half-brother of Creston (Applebloom and Terramar's son).

Spot would have a similar story, living in primarily Mount Aris instead of the Crystal Empire, and moving to Ponyville through his dads trying to get him to make some friends. Would till love swords, Power Ponies, and of course crystals and gems (even more with how rarer they are in Aris than in Ponyville)
