Thanks for the honesty, even if it does being me down some haha. I actually did set up a perspective grid. Learned to do so on this piece actually. I think as things go higher up they began to conflict, I don't know it was because of distortion or what so...yeah. what do you mean by the values? More contrast?

Hey Β man, nice entry. I like the idea and the design work. I think the conflicting perspective issues that show up do detract from the piece quite a bit. If you don't, get in the habit of setting up perspective grids so you can align everything correctly. The chain brush is a bit obvious, so maybe going back in with a little bit of painting over, adding silhouette variety and texture would help. Β I think the values could probably be tweaked to get the best effect out of the composition and really nail your focal points.Β
Nice concept overall mate.Β

I love the dank, green lighting - gives this world a wonderful swampy atmosphere. I also adore your design of a hanging city suspended by a vast web of chains in a variety of sizes (the buildings themselves appear to be giant links in even greater chains!) - the design really sparks my imagination, raising many questions about what the city is suspended from and how it all works. Plus, I love the idea of leaping through this city with the band of adventurers filling the center of the piece! Superb work, my friend - simply superb.Β

Haha, thank you. Honestly, just having a comment expressing how my concept makes you feel in depth makes my day X)
