I guess it's devotion when you stay up til 3 in the morning just to finish coloring this.
And thanks to Hiro Mashima and his Fairy Tail I always have to think twice before writing the word fairy tale.

Nos has dumped Nyx at Zim's house and the invader isn't exactly keen on keeping her either. And when she asks him to read her something from her favorite book, he, being the nice guy and great father figure he just is, immediately says "No. I got better things to do, you know. Enslaving all of mankind and ruling it with an iron fist."
Nyx of course understands and respects his priorities, that's why she starts crying like a howler monkey, forcing Zim into submission. To shut her up, he checks out the book (I love his expression in that panel ^.^), finds that the good always wins and the bad always loses and is disgusted by that. But, of course, being an evil genius and stuff, he finds a way to entertain little Nyx, who already wrapped herself up in a cover to get comfortable and tells her the glorious tale of him, defeating the Dib and all humans, becoming king of all humans, being praised by the Tallest and whatnot. And Nyx, being an impressionable little kid, instantly believes him when he says: "But of course it says that, right here." and opens a random page in the book.

Special thanks to Charlie, who has no real DA or anything, for helping me with the storyline. And motivating me after screwing up on the first try. If it wasn't for her, this wouldn't be here now. ^^ Or with a different ending. A much cuter, less in-character one.

I know I fucked up on the BG. Please do not remind me. I know. I just don't wanna fix it. But I know it's messed up. I didn't use a reference, that's why the floor is wrong and the couch looks like something from a 2D-video game. I am however content with the colors, the shading and the other BGs that do not show Zim's base's living room.
