"...Its not there. You feel its not there. You can't force yourself to feel it. You cant give it to anyone if you don't have it. You feel incomplete. You feel it missing. Your eyes don't show it. Your words have no hint of it. Your posture shows no sign of it.Love is not there. Any sense of caring about love is not within you now. You feel empty. Your mind doesn't process any type of loving being given or receiving. You feel like a hollowed shell on the verge of cracking without love holding you together.
The "power" of love within you is on shut-down for a while until the batteries have been recharged..."

I can totally relate, I actually went on a date with someone but now she's with someone else (she still likes me though). And though I am friends with someone else and we do share interests, I don't even know if I could get in a relationship with her because we have ones that are greatly different and sometimes I've ended up with conversations that make me feel awkward.

awesome traditional shading technique. Sure, the composition and context are excellent. BUT COME ON someone else besides me say how much that hatching, crosshatching and cross-contour shading add to this.

My friend you have just summed up my life in a nutshell. As a 21 year old socially awkward nerd who's never had a serious relationship in his life I can tell you I understand that feeling perfectly. I feel empty, cold, alone and broken and chances are that's hows its gonna stay.

Alex... You are truly what I believe the term "Artist" should refer to. Even your B&W pieces draw out such emotion, power, and connection that you should never need color. But the simple fact that you can draw such an amazing piece, and provide the words to make anyone just sit and cry about it in thought, that is what makes you an Artist, in every sense of the word.

I've got a friend right now who's in very low spirits because he was rejected by a girl he cared a lot about...
He seems very distant, and I hope he pulls out of it, but I imagine this is how he feels at the moment. Your art is always very powerful.
