"It was past 1:30 am and I missed the last bus ride home. I could have walked back, but in these streets, I was a tad crept out. So I decided to continue my stay with Jewels and her boyfriend Adam. They are cool friends who live with 4 other roommates, most of them just as open as they are, which was nice."However, I can not stress the fact that I didn't want to stay the night with Jewels and Adam. Even though they are warm hearted folks, I cant stress enough that I have a crush on Jewels. She too has a crush on me, just as deep and heavy as I on her. We both know this and I think that Adam knows about it as well, but he trusts Jewels and knows that she wont hurt him.
"So I spent the night laying on the couch. This is my first time sleeping over their place, so I had some trouble sleeping. I wasn't planning a sleep over, so I didn't bring my PJs or anything. Jewels gave me one of her shirts that fit me since I am as skinny as her. In my mind, I pondered about things with her and I. We never got serious because I respect Adam and her and their relationship together. It is like a 'look but dont touch' situation, and it is tarring us both inside. After kicking around thought in my head, I drifted asleep.
"Suddenly, I opened my eyes and I saw Jewels sitting right next to me, right on the ground near the couch. She was just watching me. I looked at the time and saw that it was near morning. I asked her if something was wrong, and she asked if she could snuggle with me on the couch. She said her boyfriend was fast asleep and she wanted to be close to me until the sun rose.
"I hesitated and looked her in her eyes, deeply."
Some may say that he is going into a dangerous territory because he is being romantically intimate with a girl who is already taken. Love is very confusing when you look at it. You find that right person that you have been looking for for most of your life, and when you find that person, he or she is already taken/engaged.
I really cant say any more about this, because this is based off of a true story and I am still confused about it myself...

We have a more polyamorous nature than we know. I'll add myself to the list. I have had experiences where myself and another that was taken, wanted to be together. At last for the moment.

I have a similiar story, I was engaged to a guy... that I thought I could love for the rest of my life - but when Corey showed up in my life he made me smile (still does), we have a connection neither one of us can deny. We found things that kept the bonds between us fresh and new (still do) but I found that the other guy no matter how much I loved him - wasn't what my heart wanted. My heart screamed for Corey (still does) and I knew that I had to give him the chance his heart was already asking for - even if he hadn't audibly said it.
To this day, Corey is my heart's content...I believe - He always was... and I know he always will be. I am pretty sure, he'd say the same thing... but the confusion and feelings that were all up and flying around grounded themselves when we agreed to be with each other - they are still just as explosive and intense - but they are content because we know we are supposed to be with each other. The heart already knows it's destiny - no matter what we want to believe. The heart already knows it's keeper and will scream for them when they are near.
I will always love Corey with everything I am, no matter what life throws at us... he will always be my heart's keeper (and for those of you who have seen Pirates 3...it reminded me very much of where Corey and I are at as he's mine but I can't hold him due to the physical distance we have to keep right now....

wow, how odd, something like this happened with me, but we planned the sleep over and it was another girl so my bf was like, yeah sleep with her O.o and she slept with me on the couch lol. Hmmmz. So i fave this because it reminds me of that night.

All I can say to you is that I hope that you are able to sort out your feelings, as difficult as that may be, but such a situation is hard to understand when you're not the one going through with it, though, I have been through that before, but how someone else feels is very differnt. You did a great job on this piece, and the description beneath it is deep as it always is. Keep it up, Oki-san and much good fortune to you.

Looks like we have three people who will be having a lot of potentially awkward but important things to discuss in the future, most likely with a lot of firm boundaries being set. These are things that nobody wants to discuss with their friends, especially friends that you have a crush on, but it's something that has to be done. Either you choose to accept your loss and ignore such infatuation entirely (not easy) or you thoroughly discuss and actively resolve the issue (just as difficult). Letting it brood and grow cannot end well, and could lead to damaged or awkward friendships. I do not envy any of those three.

I was kind going write something about love, but after thinking about it...I don't know I thought the analogy I thought of was kind of stupid.

There's really nothing confusing about it. I say go for her. Face it, if she doesn't like Adam enough to sleep with him instead of you, obviously any relationship they have is paper thin and really just a devorce waiting to happen.
Humans and their stupidity. I say if there's a girl you like, who likes you, who's in a relationship, fuck the relationship since it's obviously not a very strong one.

I've got a dumb stupid question ummm are you a girl or a guy? because i wonder if your friend jewels is being rejected secretly by Adam or if jewels hooked up with Adam and did not know that she would develop a real deep loving affection to you as you have for her ..... sounds like a really stupid conclusion right hehe

I actually am going through that exact some complication. It is... frustrating to say the least, and at the most rends at you inside. I have to say, I chose to avoid doing anything I felt would compromise what she and her other had together, but it really does hurt. Just as it hurts to see how happy they are together and hear of it as well. Forever friends I suppose...
Truly, the emotion is incredibly captured in the art. I swear it is as if I am almost looking into my own past.
A very well done piece.
