Thank you very much for such a kind comment.  I started off painting in oils, then tried acrylic and it took me a little bit to get used to the differences.  But now I love it and very rarely paint in oils anymore.

Well, to ME he is, but not quite literally.

This picture was done as an illustration to a fanfic where Merlin is born with wings. He's not an angel, he just happens to be born with wings and has to hide them because he knows people will be afraid of them and his magic. It was a lovely story, but unfortunately I don't think the end of it was ever posted.

Just to warn you, in case you aren't into that sort of thing, it is a Merlin and Arthur romance. I can't remember if there is any sex in it, but there might well be some towards the end, I can't remember. So don't click on the link if that's not your sort of thing.

I'm really sorry, I didn't realise it wasn't finished, that must have been very frustrating.

Back when I posted the painting and set up the link it was still being written and updated regularly, then I kinda forgot about it and assumed it had been finished, but I just went to look and see that the last chapter is missing.

It is a lovely story, looking at it again has reminded me of it and I'd like to know how it ends myself.

I'll edit my link to warn people it's not finished. Really sorry about that.
