Even if you did ship them, it's actually not that rare. It's often done in AU fics so they can make the age gap a bit less drastic though. They do compliment each other, so I can see them being a crime fighting duo.

At first, I thought Yuffie was attacking with the text boxes, which would've made it both funnier and creepier on a meta level. Also, I feel sorry for Tifa and Aeris now, because this means not only do they have competition in the form of Yuffie for getting into Cloud's pants, but she's a Yandere too, meaning any advances on their part could be violently retaliated.
Or, like most everything else about Yuffie, it's completely forgotten, even by herself, the moment they leave Wutai.

About an impossible question... I'm not sure that was a question, actually.
I find it incredibly amusing that Yuffie's Lv 2 Limit Break is Cloud's ULTIMATE. It's like, he does it exactly the same, but because it's with a sword (which you're SUPPOSED to slash with) instead of giant shuriken (which you're supposed to throw, if it even can be thrown, because I'm honestly not sure about aerodynamics!), the move suddenly goes two ranks up! Because Cloud actually knows how to use his weapon - he doesn't try to throw sword, he slashes with it!
Yeah, and the fact that All Creation is a lot worse than Omnislash, which is Bloodfest, is only a pining on the whole delicious irony cake thrown into the face of Yuffie. The best way to use a cake.
Also... Did you realise that you actually just made Wutai IMPORTANT?! Yeah, it turns out it wasn't a complete waste of time, it was more like overblown and stupid training arc for Cloud... Half a training arc for Cloud if you will chronicle the attempts to get Omnislash from Gold Saucer (my official theory is that the prize will be just the paper with the name for the move, because he already knows the move, and it's funny). I hope you understand what you've just done, Melon.
And, as everybody already said... Two last panels - yandere Higurashi Yuffie. An unexpected side of her, to be honest. And here I thought she was the only one who didn't actually care about Cloud that much. But it turns out, she was just tsundere. Damn this script.

First I wanted to apologise to the creators of the game... Then I remembered I had Google, and used it.
It turns out that no, it wasn't a real weapon. Sorry, but you were mistaken. Fuma clan WAS real, though... But it never developed anything like that, because it would be stupid (if cool-looking). How do you wield it? How do you not cut yourself in half with this strange shuriken? Why waste so much time and resources on making these, when it doesn't have any real function which other weapons can't copy/improve? Can it even be made effective? And OK, maybe orange jumpsuits already did sabotage us, but why do we need shuriken we can't HIDE? That's kind of the reason ninja didn't like swords much. They were assassins and spies.

I never said it was a traditional "ninja" weapon. if I'm not mistaken they mainly used knives so they wouldn't expose themselves, but could also use throwing stars which were small and made from every day objects like nails. I said it is a real and functional weapon. you would want to train to catch it with the blade un-sharpened for a while so as not to cut off your fingers, and even then I would still wear a tough glove. but you could also use it as a close range weapon, hence the handle for both catching it if it were to come back to you (wouldn't really make a deep cut if it could still have the energy to come back so I would say the blade would probably be poisoned if you were trying to kill someone) or to use in close quarters. in the movie yuffie uses it to inflict light to medium cuts on Bahamut SIN as well as to distract him. she also throws it in a matter so it DOESN'T inflict deep wounds and so that it continues to fly in order for her to be able to catch it. Also these probably wouldn't be mass produced, they would be more along the lines of a personal request from a blacksmith. you stay in one piece by practicing a lot without the blades being sharp. also yes I got the name wrong I used the naruto name, this shuriken is called a 4-point shuriken or a JΕ«ji Shuriken. Most of the weapons I have seen in FF are functional, granted some would require superhuman strength to use without injuring yourself, like some of Vincents guns, but most are functional, and if made and WIELDED properly ones that look heavy like clouds buster sword or that seem ridiculous like squals gun-blade would work. I have been trying to figure out how to make lightnings sword so that it would unfold like they show, it looks to me like its workable. I didn't check out the first one but all the other answers came from a forum answer sight so they are not very reliable. also you arnt really being a killjoy, I love talking about weapons.
