Im sure most of you have no clue I got this boy for christmasHe is a little over a year old, and came to me in a severe allergic attack. His face was really swollen and I had to figure out if it was from the bedding or the food or because his previous home stuck him in a cage with another male hedgie for a duration and could be just wounds.
Through lots of research I knew the wound his butt had was from the other hedgie, his face was an allergy so I swapped out his bedding, no improvement after 2 days and then I swapped his food and boom improvement. He is now on purina house cat+kitten food mixture with chicken. Im soooo happy he is getting more energy and not such an angry little pinecone anymore.
I hope it doesnt scar, but what matters is his healthhhhh

Aww, so glad you figured out the source of the allergy! It can be so difficult to track down for humans, never mind animals that cannot say, "Mom, my mouth feels tingly!"Β

Awwww, I love Pin so much, I actually used to breed hedgehogs for a few years so I'm really glad that you got him and he'll have an amazing home now and I hope he feels even better soon <3

Angry little pinecone. 
So happy there was a good ending (or soon to be ending) to this tale of woe. Poor little guy was probably so uncomfortable before he started recovering.
