Description A mernicorn, otherwise known as a narwhal. x] I always thought of narwhals as unicorn mermaids, so I decided to draw one. And she's perdy.
Prismacolor ink on paper. Roughly five hours worth of work. That kind of cross hatching and line shading takes forever.

I can't decide which fin I like more, the tail or the flipper. I love the way you did the mane as well, looks luscious and shimmery.

Thank you! I really like line shading things like this, but I rarely draw anything that looks good with it. Usually has to involve much hair.

Ya know it's funny because in medieval times people used to sell Narwhal horns claiming them to be Unicorn's (Which it was widely known would cure all diseases and ailments when grinded into a powder and mixed with medicine).
