Tonbou (which is one of the words for dragonfly) is the last member of Team Sakura, along with Garou and Hotaru.
Of all the Gen. 2 kids, Tonbou is probably the least like his father. He does not try to be mysterious or closed off-- he is just painfully shy. This comes from his awareness that he is different, and that other children do not generally like to be around him. Tonbou has come to the conclusion that to be an Aburame is to have the destiny of being alone.
It is unfortunate that he seems to have accepted this fate, distancing himself from others as best he can and not really trying to make friends. Sakura does her best to include him as part of the team, but it is difficult when he's made up his mind to get used to being alone.
Tonbou is skilled enough with his bugs, mastering everything he is taught, but lacks his father's creative intelligence and taste for combat. He will fight, but does not seek it out. He prefers to spend his time reading and studying.
On the flip-side, Tonbou has a warmer personality than Shino once you get to know him. He is less analytical, and far less likely to hold a grudge.

I like him though. The first thing I thought was "Little black rain cloud is little and black."
He seems very shy. I think he would be a great kid. Needs to open up...and stop thinking he is going to be alone for the rest of his life.
If I were Garou I would almost feel left out. "Dragonfly" and "Firefly"..."Hungry Wolf"...doesn't quite fit

He is incredibly shy. Hinata-like, with less blushing and fainting. But he doesn't talk much and never offers his opinion.

Poor soul. He needs to find a nice girl. A girl that would have to be patient, though. Very stubborn to break through that shell and then convince him that he is not destined to be alone.
As soon as you call something destiny, it isn't meant to be. That's what I've learned from Naruto. You jinx it not to come true as soon as you call it fate.
