"Why are you doing this, TenTen?" Neji whispered, holding her close. Didn't she see the danger she was putting them all in? Didn't she know what the elders would do to her when they found out?Scaring Hinata and Hanabi silly with tales of girls who'd suffered in arranged marriages was one thing. Plotting to overthrow the clan elders and allow Hinata control of her own destiny was quite another.
"I know what I'm doing, Neji. I don't need you to protect me."
"They will KILL you, TenTen. And I can't...I can't...I can't let them do that. I won't."
This is set in a story I really really REALLY want to write. Someone tries to kill Hinata, so Hiashi decides she needs a twenty-four seven body guard. Who better than TenTen, right?
Not. After a period of adjustment, TenTen decides to help Hinata change her destiny, to fight for what she desires-- to prove to her father she can and should be clan head. And, of course, that means Lee and Neji have to go along for the ride.
Body guard outfit TenTen, ftw! And I think this is the best Neji I've ever done ever. I so win at this game.

had a similer idea myself a while back, didn't go anywhere but would lov, love, love for sombody to do something like that so write that thing!
