Description "Neji! TenTen! I heard about how TenTen was injured in that last battle and I came...to...offer my..." Lee's eyes caught up with his mouth as he gaped at the sight in front of him. He'd been expecting blood-- not all of it's TenTen's as she generally fought tooth and nail to keep others from bandaging her wounds-- and probably some yelling. He wasn't expecting that much...well...skin, as both his teammates had their shirts undone. "Assistance."

"Lee," Neji's voice was a furious growl that the younger boy could never remember having heard before, "I do NOT require your assistance to check TenTen for wounds. Now get out of here. Before I kill you."

hasn't been feeling well the last couple of days, so I drew her some sexy!NejiTen to cheer her up. But they looked like they'd just been interrupted in the middle of a serious make out session. And who better to interrupt than our ever lovable, ever clueless Green Beast v2.0.

Alternate story ending: Neji asks Lee to stand look out for Guy-sensei, as, if he saw him checking, Guy-sensei would surely get the wrong idea!

Poor TenTen looks mortified . I think her life was flashing before her eyes when she saw those green spandex.

They're in a tent. In case your wondering about the background and lighting. Yep. That's Lee's green sleeping bag behind them, and Neji's they're sitting on.

Neji and TenTen (c) Kishimoto. But the character protection agency will probably be looking into that shortly.

I like this picture; I like the backstory even better.
Great job.
And, for the record, YOU turned me onto LeeHina. YOU are the one to blame, and I shall blame you when my KibaHina friend looks at my faves.
I DON'T REGRET A THING.

Oh Neji and Tenten! So very very busted!! I love that Lee's the one doing it to. This must just be one of the most awkward moments ever but so funny. I love the shocked expression on Tenten's face and also Neji's much more...I don't know what the word is. Aggressive maybe? look. It just contrasts well. Also the downward angle you chose for the picture is pretty cool and looks great!! This wasn't by any chance inspired by the guy/anko pic I showed you?

Great job on the coloring and body positions. And Neji had just better be grateful it was lee and not Guy or he wouldn't be the one making death threats. XD

I wondered if you were ever going to comment on this one.

I imagine Lee's face being somewhere between confusion and horror. He knows what he just walked in on, but the brother part of him REALLY hopes it's something else.

Neji is not pleased with losing this chance. Not pleased at ALL. Not when he was to work so hard for these moments . Poor kid.

You know, I can't recall if it conciously was or not . I THINK I put this up before you showed me that, but I wouldn't swear on it, so maybe.

TenTen's heart is still racing that's for sure.

I's a slow commenter sometimes.

Poor Lee! So very scarring for him!! I can imagine his face being like that as well, and really...it's just so strange! It'd be the same if Neji walked in on him and Hinata! You have an idea of what's happening but you're hoping it's not!!

Poor Neji. But in the long run it's probably for the best. Still, I'm sure he doesn't see it that way and Lee probably got himself throttled pretty good for interupting.

I think I might have showed you the picture before you put this up, but only by like a few days. Either way, this is so awesome!! ^^

I'd bet! Not only from how things were moving but what Lee found! She's probably had him sworn to secrecy at the threat of his life!

It's all good. I have pictures my sister did still sitting in my inbox, waiting comments .

Partly because you're not sure how to react. As a friend you want to torment and tease. As a brother, almost to both of them, you're not sure which one to be angry at and threaten .

It very likely was, and TenTen thanks Lee later, much to Lee's endless confusion. Kind of made Neji's 'training' revenge worth it .

Oh, for sure!

Awwww.

Exactly!! You don't know how to feel or what to do but you know that something has to be done!! And it seems to me, the boys tend to get blamed more on Team Guy in these situations than the girls! XD Tenten gets immunity.

I can see her thanking Lee, especially for not telling and maybe interupting when he did even.

Poor Lee! It's not his fault he has horrible timing!

Thus Lee and Neji maintaining that she's the favorite, she always will be the favorite, and the sooner they accept it the easier their lives will be.

It was more for interrupting, I think. Because after the fact, she realized how scary that really was.

It's genetic! Or something o_o.

Awwwwwww. Those poor guys!! Guy probably doesn't have a favorite, but I gotta say, he probably has a harder time blaming Tenten than the boys. Just cause, well she's his little girl!

Yay for Lee. Could see him being confused but just saying he'd be there for her all the time and giving her a big thumbs up. I wonder if Neji and Tenten might be distant after this? More so because of Tenten, like she pushes away for awhile.

It's something everyone on Guy's team suffers from!

Favorite .

I love how Lee just accepts things . They for sure would, and poor Neji would be rather confused as to what he did wrong. That's the really fun part of their relationship. Neji's so confident that he just goes with what he thinks is the right thing, and TenTen is so unsure of herself. She'd probably just kind of follow him, at first, and Neji would have to learn to let her lead sometimes too.

So very very true .

innocent-rebel In reply to ode2sokka [2009-12-09 19:52:16 +0000 UTC]

I know. Lee can be so happy even in the most dire of circumstances because as much as he accepts things, he knows they can be changed to!! Neji's not used to anyone resisting his charms! XD I mean Ino flirted with him during the second exam and I'm sure a lot of other girls have to. Then there's Tenten. XD Yeah, Neji would definately have to let her take the lead sometimes and maybe even help her do so in their relationship.

Poor Team Guy. But you know, for all their bad timing, they're very prompt! Except to when Konoha was invaded. *smacks head* seriously!! It ticks me off they got left out and we'll probably get no good explanation for what the heck they were doing!!! Mission my butt. Whatever the mission was if they knew their home was being invaded they'd have gotten back as fast as possible and kicked major butt.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ode2sokka In reply to innocent-rebel [2009-12-09 20:01:02 +0000 UTC]

By definition, then, I guess Lee would be wise. He changes what he can, and accepts what he cannot.

I'll bet that the other girls flirting with him would make TenTen very unsure of her standing with him at first. She certainly doesn't think she's as pretty as they are, though Neji would argue that she's the only one that is beautiful . They really do have a lot of issues to deal with, the pair of them, but it would be good for them. Make them almost unbreakable by the time they both felt confident enough to marry.

Unless they were kind of forced into it, like my sister and I did the other day. That was fun, because Neji was trying so hard to respect her boundaries but be married at the same time. Was interesting.

They DID rush home as soon as they found out it was being invaded. It just took...several more chapters than I would expect.

innocent-rebel In reply to ode2sokka [2009-12-09 20:20:53 +0000 UTC]

And often times has to find out the hard way what the difference is.

Yeah, I see Tenten feeling both angry at the other girls for flirting with him and unsure of herself. But the fact that Neji probably isn't ever interested must help a great deal. And he's not that subtle I have to say about rejection. Gotta wonder if Tenten was ever the subject of catty rumors because of that. Definately unbreakable.

Poor Neji and Tenten.

Seriously I need to catch up on this so badly!! I just need to set one day aside where all I do is read the stupid manga!!!

There's nothing left of it but pieces .

A book that size is an easy two hour read for me. The story and setting were interesting. The characters and plot weren't very well developed and the writing weak. It did, however, return my desire to write to me, so whatever works, right?

O_O holy crap you read fast!!!! WHOOHOO! Yay for return of desire to write!!! Can I ask why you thought the characters and such weren't well developed and the writing weak? I'm just curious. Been a long time since I read it.

ode2sokka In reply to innocent-rebel [2009-12-10 20:45:46 +0000 UTC]

I can read all 7 Harry Potter books in under a week if I try hard enough. I've been reading since I was 2, so by now it's just kind of...easy...

The writing was weak mostly because so much was skipped. Cultural details were used, but there wasn't a whole lot of description over all. None of the characters but Spider were very well described, physically, and all the locations that weren't full of specific Japanese culture were generic if they were described at all.

The characters were weak because they lacked any real emotion. Koji was sort of...frustratingly blind. Yes, I could see his situation being hard, but so much reasoning was given to the ninja without balancing reasoning or emotion from him, even on the inside, that it was difficult to give him that. The other characters may as well have been cardboard cut outs. They were predictable and well...just boring. Not at all people complex, with almost none of their motives being described.

The plot...had a lot of holes. WHY was the dye master in such a hurry to leave the first time? Why didn't they just kill the Lord instead of going to all the trouble to foil his plans? I still don't understand his parents at all. They seemed remorseful for trying to kill him, but didn't really act it well for most of his life.

On that note, I would think a slightly more emotional reaction would be good for that news.

So, while it was well researched and the ninja stuff was interesting the rest was very...generic.

innocent-rebel In reply to ode2sokka [2009-12-10 20:51:53 +0000 UTC]

Wow. O_O That's a lot of reading!!! I don't know when I started reading but as much as I love it I know I couldn't do that!

Ahhhhh ok. I think I see what you mean. Especially about the generic locations and such. It's been a long time since I read it so I don't remember to much... Sorry it wasn't as good as I thought it'd be. It feels weird to give another recomendation right after, but I think a book you might like where the writing was really strong, lots of descriptions and historical detail is called Assassins Touch by Laura Joh Rowland. It's really good and very suspenceful. No plot holes from what I remember at all, and despite being part of a series you dont' have to read any of the other books to know what's going on.

I watched a lot of Seasame Street as a kid. And read in school. Really. That's all I did.

Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy it! It was a fun read, and I would have loved it as a kid. I'm just...too much an English Major now to love it as much as I would have. And the information was solid and interesting .

I'm going to the library tomorrow to look up books on twins, so I'll definitely check that one out too.

Okey dokey. Well as long as you enjoyed it. ^_^ Glad it was interesting!!

Coolness. It's a really good book and as an author she's wonderful. Though, there are some awkward parts in terms of sexual references but it's not so much or horribly explicit that it takes away from the story. Just a heads up. I didn't know about it when I started reading it and it was definately awkward to read at first. Read those parts very fast!

SCANDALOUS!
