It was midnight when he felt her slide back into bed beside him. He rolled over, slipping his arms around her waist and pulling her into him. "Welcome home.""I should go shower," TenTen whispered to him.
She was hurt, he could tell by the way she held herself. She had problem gone to the hospital before coming to him. "It doesn't matter."
He was silent for a little while, recalling the events of the day. Of tearful light beige eyes and a soft voice asking the worst question in the world. "TenTen...Hibari couldn't remember what you looked like today. And Hachiko couldn't remember her song. Please, stay here..."
In my head, Neji gives up full time missions to be a teacher for Hyuuga children, and raise his girls, while TenTen keeps hers up full time. Until this time, which is heartbreaking and I might, maybe, do a Doujinshi for if you guys want to see.

Agreed. Kishi does do a good job of showing changes in characters and sacrifices. I know some people don't like his ninja's because they're so different from the traditional kind, but I give him major props for creating this entire world!

Traditional ninjas aren't generally nice people. These are more like TMNT type ninja. Or somewhere in between traditional and TMNT. Which I really like ^^.

Same here. ^_^ Have you ever read the book blue fingers? It's a great book and very historically accurate about ninjas. Apparently sometimes to keep their ranks full they would kidnap children and force them to become foot soldiers.
I wonder why there seems to be this amnesty between TMNT and Naruto people? Like if you like one, you don't like the other? Or at least that's what I've seen. I think they'd all get along really well actually.

It's really really good! The author does an amazing job of blending historical fact with these characters and really shows the roots of ninjas.
I know! I think Raph woulda beat the crap outta Sasuke though. Or maybe that'd just make me happy. Leo and Sasuke could probably emo together for awhile until Leo got his head back on straight.

That would be so awesome!!! LOL! Mikey and Kiba and Naruto...the world would never be the same again!! Neji vs Leo. Very funny. And they are a lot alike. Even their hobby is the same. Meditation. I think Tenten and Raph would get along pretty well because they both like sharp shiney things, and for some reason...I can see Lee and Casey just hitting it off right away! Meanwhile Splinter and Guy are just in the background with their heads in their hands and wishing they knew how to stop the ensuing chaos.

I know! I can just see Casey dragging Lee with him on a vigilante mission and Lee being so upset at the injustice that they just both go headfirst into fights! lol. Tenten would teach Raph how to use scrolls to seal away multiple weapons and Raph could teach her how to use Sai.

Neji does not like to share his Tenten. That's for sure. I can see Leo being impressed by her skill and asking to spar with her, which would prompt Neji's radar to go off and he'd be all: She's my sparring partner! And we're sparring right now. So she can't!

And of course, Tenten doesn't care. She loves Neji and thinks that they can have a great life together if they both fight tooth and nail for it. Still, I can understand him being worried even if he doesn't have to be. For some reason...I kinda blame the elders for that. Just maybe stuff they told him if they found out he liked Tenten. Like saying that she would never want this kind of life and stuff.

OH! I could see her pulling an avatar. Though why would him having an heir change anything? Or would it change it because then Neji would be the heir technically and they couldn't put a mark on him? I think something besides just the mark definately made Hizashi hate his brother as much as he came to. I think as kids they would have been really close and I can see Hizashi being protective of his brother because he's been taught that's his job in life.

That's sort of what I decided. It's hard to get closer than Hizashi to Hiashi, isn't it? So, that would make him the technical heir, save him from the mark, and so on. But, she wasn't successful and died for it.
Yes, exactly! They're TWINS. My brother and sister are twins, and I think unless you're close to a pair you can't really comprehend how twins are. Even then, it's a totally different mind set. My twins, at least, and most I know don't like to use the word I, but prefer 'we', and they hate being alone because there's never a point in their life when they have been and...to HATE your own twin that bad it would have to be more drastic than a mark you got when you were three years old, I think.

That's really interesting and puts a whole new perspective on their relationship. I could see Hiashi maybe even protecting his brother at a younger age and holding his hand when the curse mark got put on him. Wonder if he had to put the curse mark on Hizashi himself...hmmm. I guess I've never understood that with this cursemark if it's just those who know the ninjitsu who can activate it, or only the one who put it on the person.

It's so sad. He lost his mommy which meant he was super close to his dad then lost him to.
I think it's the way he focuses the chakra when making the seal. Cause it didn't have effect at least I don't think, until he squinted his eyes.

Well...I don't know. Because if they die in battle then something in the cursemark is activated to erase the Byakugan...but maybe they have to see them for it to have an intense effect?
