Everyone, meet Luotian.

She is, obviously, not an orc. But she thinks she is.

To make a fairly short story even shorter, her parents went with the prince to the Outlands. But her mother soon became frightened by what the way her race was going. When they tried to leave, they tried to kill her.

Her mother escaped and gave birth to her, but died then of her injuries. An orc mother who had recently lost her own child found her and, unwilling to just let her die, brought her back to part of the clan.

Because of this choice, the orc's family was exiled to Azeroth, and eventually met up with Thrall and the others. Durotar is where Luotian and her two brothers (who I have yet to make up) now live.

Luotian is a bit young to be starting her world adventure, but she is desperate to prove that her 'mother' made the right choice by letting her live-- she CAN bring honor and strength to her clan, even if she is ugly and pink.

Seriously, she really thinks she's just a deformed orc. She didn't see another elf for most of her life, and is very confused when she runs into them later. She becomes convinced that all the deformed orc babies like her somehow survived and became a race of their own.

Flawed logic, but she's still very young .

And...that's Luotian in a nutshell. I rather like her .

The picture is just her, hanging out in Durotar. The bright background colors kind of make her look like she just stepped out of a Disney animated series, doesn't it? Oh well.
