The nurses taught me how to sit at the computer without all the
tiredness I was feeling when I would sit down....
its all baby steps as I have never been in this position before
but it does feel good to be able to reply to the mail that was
really piling up

Good point, Sheri. All the eco doomsters who hate human development should look at what happens to the old stuff.
Many Thanks

Where are the people responsible for the upkeep of the Castle? Such a solid structure!

Good point, Henry. The original owners, the Douglas family, are long gone. Apparently, by the 1950s the upkeep and restoration to keep the building habitable had become ruinously expensive and those living there simply abandoned it. As it is on privately owned land there is no compulsion to do much about it, apart from keeping it safe.

It makes one think seriously deeper and ask the definition of what TREASURE is. That what was TREASURE to somebody may not be so with other persons. Looking at this structure, one will think that, a lot of energy, in artistry, resources, and other things that were put together to bring about this beauty which is today dilapidated and gradually falling apart and losing its treasure and value. I wish at times we could realize that the joy of life is what is happening at the 'present moment' and future is just a hope for the continued joy but there is no guarantee! Just my take as this moment dictates.
Cheers

That's an astute observation, Henry. Reality says that someone must see value before there is value. With this old structure no one sees any value, or if they do they do not have the resources to do anything about it.

Agreed, Linda. But a touch of "look upon my works, ye mighty, and despair..."
Thank you.
