Thank you, Linda - sounds about right. Lots of noise indeed. It may have been my presence that caused the disturbance, but gulls are always noisy - they need no excuse.

This is one went directly in my faves David, and I admit it really reminded me of Jonathan Livingston from enlightened and enlightening genius writer Richard Bach.

Well, Elisabeth, this one was very noisy and I managed this shot mid squawk. If you look closely you can see the black of the eye's pupil is surrounded by a reddish brown iris. So, the lens is not bad.
