Cat NipsSam and Tabitha thought it time I showed some more photographs and have pressured me by meowing, head-butting and general moggie malarkey into presenting these shots. Photographically, there are couple of points of interest, for example, in this first image of Sam sprawled over my chair you might think this should have been a straightforward capture. However, Sam is grey and white and he is resting on a black surface with further greys and blacks in the background. As I've said before this black-white range can cause problems for the camera's exposure meter in that depending on which part of the image is evaluated for exposure, so the whites are over exposed or the blacks are clipped. Here I have tried to keep the whites under control and so the rest of the image might be considered under-exposed. From a cat perspective, you are seeing Sam start to display a characteristic Maine Coon attribute - hanging or draping body parts in mid air, in this instance one leg. This behaviour is seen
