Hm. Now, this piece does have flow, but it's kind of chaotic. I guess it might be a bit difficult to strike a balance between your lovely, surreal style and coherency? This certainly isn't, well, *linear* (not that storytelling *has* to be, but clarity's even more of a challenge when it isn't).
Then again, it's hard to tell where you were going with it, with just one page.

Aw, thank you! The Staedtler Mars Graphic 3000 Duo is my pen of choice--it's a brush pen marker that's really durable and flexible and doesn't go blunt like Tombows do. The problem is that they're hard to get ahold of individually, so I've also heard the Faber-Castell Pitt recommended, as well as the Pentel Brush Pen. The latter is great, has a sort of dry brush effect.

making something visually coherent has always been a big problem for me too, but your inks are pretty much epic. plus the slightly jumpy continuity of the panels gives the whole thing a dreamlike atmosphere.
so. yeah, i still like it a lot. <3

i think this is a very good work artistically, but yes i agree with you as a comic it fails, it's confusing because it has so many details in little space, and the motion jumps from one thing to another, making the viewer get lost. but im sureyou can manage to find a middlepoint between too many details and total simpleness and do something great.
