See, my Photobucket account was littered with these failed comics projects. I would get one page in, and then I'd just lose interest and stop.This one's only a year old, and the cause of it is a little embarrassing. I actually did this to try to get the attention of a really charming guy who seemed to like art, except I was so awkward around him I kept forgetting to (very conspicuously) draw around him, and then we just parted ways and never saw each other again.
This was based on a dream. The girl on the right gets turned into a horse. The costumes are adapted from Beijing Opera.
I'm done with the old-spamming now, eheheh. :3 Sorry about the spam.

I very like it. I'm interested in chinese / Beijing opera, and I'm also planning to make a comic involving it. In addition, I like how you expressed your feelings by drawing this. I think the comic/drawing/painting etc. is more precious, it has more meaning if it is made for a special, personal occassion. I've started doing my charcoal drawings (you can check some of them in my gallery) when I was in the same situation with a girl as you with that guy. It gave me a lot of strenght to try out new technics, fullfill my ideas and so on. Personally, I can work much more hardly if I'm really motivated, I mean emitionally.

This picture fills my heart with happiness. It reminds me of the old Soviet cartoons I used to watch when I was younger. They were filled with sad fairy tales of beautiful princesses and their princes.
The patterns and the details are also extremely remarkable.

well, maybe it was fate, you were never to meant to be or not in that sence, anyways this is sooooo good!
But to me, i always feel awkward drawing around people, just the attention bit, it's like it's just a doodle, nothing more

heehee, I try to draw cool stuff when there are pretty girls around to try to get them to talk to me. the only problem with that is that it usually happens when im starting the initial sketch, or i dont have the right sketchbook with me...

You've have got to keep doing this art! It's so beautiful!!!! This is so refreshing because I haven't seen this type of art in a long time!! The details in their expressions, clothing and all the other things surrounding them is superb. Really great stuff!

I couldn't help but quickly comment on this piece.
The details and line work in it are wonderful. Certainly (for illustrators) taking on a comic project can be an enormous undertaking (especially when putting in the sort of time and effort you obviously have), but you should really finish one of these someday. I think you'll be very pleased with the result.

This is dazzlingly beautiful. It's a bit busy, but with the simple white word balloons, I imagine it would have been easy enough to follow. All these first pages are kind of tantalizing, hon!

all three of the "old" peices you uploaded are beautiful. I know you say you're disatisfied with them, but I wish my old stuff were even a fraction as amazing as these pages. This one in particular really struck me, the costume design, the balance of the paneling on the page, the emotions of the characters themselves...I really want to know what they're saying, and to see where the story goes. Your work is inspirational, it makes me want to bust out my ink and give it another go...
